State Report Cards
Each year, the State of North Carolina releases school report cards to provide educators, families, policymakers, and others with common metrics and data for public school performance, student growth, and student achievement.
Schools receive performance grades, with 80% of the grade based on student proficiency rates, and 20% of the grade based on academic growth. KIPP NC utilizes many other metrics to measure and reflect on the successes of our students and schools, including curricular assessments, nationally-normed assessments like DIBELS, ACT scores for high school students, AP exam passing rates for high school students, and college completion rates for our graduates.
